Hi! I am Anurati. I work at the intersection of product development, design, and educational technology.
I have successfully led multidisciplinary teams to build award-winning products, games, innovative learning solutions, experiences, visual narratives, and interactive media using the power of play, emerging technologies, and human-centered design.
I have worked with UN agencies, non-profits, and governmental organizations to create 30+ innovative products that reach out to 25k+ learners in 15 countries. I have an interdisciplinary education across the liberal arts, sciences, and technology.

Led the product design and development of an award-winning storytelling app
in Hindi that aims to improve grade level reading skills for 4-12 year old children living in under-served areas.
The app packs 30+ animated stories and games on themes of gender equality, equity, culture, heritage, maternal healthcare and kindness. Read more

As a part of my Experiential Learning Module at Young India Fellowship (YIF), I worked with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on the problem of stress among urban adolescents.
After extensive research,
designed an art therapy mobile app as a part of innovative programs to reduce stress.

Project
As a part of the Swachch Bharat campaign, I created contextualized comics to spread awareness about sanitation and hygiene in the Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh.
It was chosen among the various entries in the national competition and published in the newspaper.
Graduated with a Dual Degree in
M.Sc. (Hons) Biological Sciences and
B.E. (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani Goa Campus while doing a host of exciting & diverse electives like Product and Brand Management, Modern Fiction, Literary Forms and Movements and Hindustani Classical Music.
Education
Was awarded a scholarship to pursue a postgraduate diploma in liberal arts and leadership at Ashoka University delivered in partnership with UPenn, Yale, Carleton and other eminent international universities.
Did 36 interdisciplinary courses ranging from cinematic arts, psychology to political science, law and more in a yearlong course.
Awards & Honors
Led the product development of KathaKhazana mobile app that won the
mBillionth award across South Asia for innovation in storytelling and for creating India's first reading application in the early stage category during my tenure at Katha, India.
The award recognises social innovation across South Asia and is conferred by DEF, India, in collaboration with Facebook and World Summit Awards (WSA)

I pitched and present a product strategy and innovation plan at the national event.
Women Who Design is a Twitter directory of accomplished women in the design industry across
the world. I was included in the list as "product manager" amongst other talented women.
