With about 6 years of experience working in the education sector and the development sector at UN agencies, non-profits in India, I have had various opportunities to conduct workshops and training for educators, youth and K-12 learners. I also share my work and research at invited talks and conferences. The various themes that I've spoken about include game-based learning, learning experience design, SEL, instructional design, educational technology, and storytelling. 

Play Paradigms
Visiting Faculty at NID
 Co-designed and co-instructed the course "Playing with Play: People, Pieces, Places, Phases, & Purpose."
Facilitated 50+ projects with16 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of diverse disciplines through 15+ hands-on exercises, discussions &  mini-design challenges to spark thoughts, ideas & projects on play.


Canva | Play & Learn 
Conducted a session with educators and teachers on social-emotional learning and play using Canva as a tool for creative expression. Teachers developed a vision of their happy spaces using multimedia like visuals, audio, animations, music and interactives.


YTH 2020 
Shared research on the impact of game-based courses on social-emotional learning competencies of adolescents and process of developing such digital pedagogies. 

iLRN 2021
Invited for a talk at the Immersive Learning Network 2021 (iLRN) to share about game-based learning, its relevance and the process of integrating instructional design with games.

T E C H 2020


Conducted 4 virtual workshops of 2 hours each for ~150 participants at MGIEP's annual conference TECH 2020. The workshop was a hands-on exercise on using games for social-emotional learning. 

Gurushala 2020


Spoke to 400 teachers in Hinglish (Hindi+English) about "Digital Pedagogies for SEL" at Gurushala's 2-day conference - an initiative implemented by Pratham Education Foundation

Terrible Scribbles 
In the wake of Covid-19, a friend and I formed an online creative community to host open, free guided scribbling sessions combined with viewing curated clips of media for inspiration on themes such as loneliness, emotion, and love. We conducted 4 such sessions on different themes with a group of ~50 people.

Game-Based Curricula for SEL
Catalytic speaker at MGIEP's annual conference, TECH (Transforming Education Changing Humanity) 2019 for the panel on "Gamestorming Curricula". Spoke about game-based courses for SEL.

CoDesign Workshops 
Facilitated CoDesign workshops for ~300 students across 8 days with the Games for Learning team at UNESCO MGIEP. Students across ages and socio-economic backgrounds played two selected games and created digital learning experiences.

Games for Learning Teacher Training Workshop 
Co-facilitated a 2-day workshop on the online course based on the game Bury Me, My Love, centered on themes of migration, identity, and home.


Conducted a storytelling workshop at the IHC-ILF Samanvay as a part of the Children's Literature Festival at the India Habitat Centre.

This was part of the outreach
of the app, KathaKhazana, designed with Katha India.

Digital Storytelling

During my time at Katha India, i conducted storytelling sessions using digital media in the Katha Lab School, Govindpuri.

Katha Fellowship

I trained 15 youths in courses like website design, game design and UI/UX as a part of the Katha Fellowship which aimed to empower 12th grade graduates with employable skills and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Digital Katha

Conducted  a product and branding workshop with mid-career professionals in the field of digital marketing to seek actionable plans and derive customer insights for the product and outreach strategy at Katha.

ECTC Workshop

Designed a workshop to drive mutual learning amongst children in sync with the philosophy of "Each Child Teach Child" at India Habitat Centre's
Children's Literature Festival.

Game Design 

Conducted a game design workshop with 25 teachers who work with low cost private schools and govt schools to seamlessly transfer the classroom experience in underserved areas onto interactive digital games.
